Why we exist
Three gaps between a listing and the truth
01
A mark isn’t proof
A compliance mark on a listing tells you something about the product. It is not proof that the unit you receive matches it or does what the listing promises.
02
The wrong unit, the right-sounding number
20,000mAh is quoted at the cell voltage, not at the 5 V output. We convert to Wh, show the working and compare on price per Wh.
03
The title says one thing
65W in the title, 20W in the spec table. IP67 in the photo, none in the description. We catch the contradictions.

How the score works
One rubric, every product, out of 100
No points for reputation. A famous brand with a thin listing can lose to an unknown one that tells you everything. Products that fail a safety gate, such as a missing rated capacity for a power bank, are never recommended, whatever they would have scored.
- 90+ Top pick territory
- 80+ Solid choice

Key findings
Research that changed our picks
- Power banks: a 3x gap in price per Wh₱7.82 per Wh for one, ₱25.05 per Wh for another, using 3.7 V where a listing gives only mAh.
- Dashcams: no listing states an operating temperatureNone of the three we ranked says how hot a parked car it can take, so we could not score it.
- Earbuds: similar price, very different batteryAbout ₱51 per stated hour for one pair and ₱115 for another at nearly the same sticker price.
- Speakers: one listing, two play timesA title says 4 to 6 hours while the highlights say 3 to 8. We note it instead of picking one.

- “Waterproof” or “fast charging” with no rating
- “Certified” with nobody named
- Brand-name product at half the official price
Questions people ask us
Short answers on how we score, how we are paid and how often we recheck prices.
Does a compliance mark mean a product is good?
No. A mark such as NTC type approval or a DTI-BPS PS or ICC mark tells you about one requirement. It does not tell you the product lasts or performs as claimed, and it does not prove the unit in the box matches the one that was approved. That is why we score claims separately.
How do you choose which products to review?
We start from what people actually find when they search Shopee and Lazada, keep one product per brand, then read each full listing and score it with the same rubric.
Why would a famous brand score lower than an unknown one?
Because we score the listing, not the reputation. If a well-known brand’s listing leaves out the rated capacity or the compliance marks, it loses those points, and we say so plainly. This is a listing review, not a hands-on test.
How do you make money?
SulitPicks is independent. Links on this site may earn us a commission in the future, at no extra cost to you. No brand pays to be featured or ranked. How we make money.
How current are prices and stock?
Shopee and Lazada prices change constantly, and 11.11 and 12.12 prices are temporary, so every guide shows the date we last checked. We recheck picks on a schedule and replace any that can no longer be bought.
